REGULATIONS:

 

APPLICATION:        

1.         Applies for travel on TA/LR/GU/WC flights only.

2.         Does not apply for code share flights (include the following flights: TA2000-2001, LR2050-2651, and LR21-326).

3.         Groups of 10 or more passengers must be requested through GRUPO TACA’S Yield Management Department.

4.         Valid for sale in Europe, Asia, Australia and Israel only.

COUPONS :

1.         Minimum 4 coupons and maximum 16 coupons. One flight (origin/destination) equals one coupon.

2.         Flights with less than 8 hours connecting time are considered one coupon. In this case, unlimited connecting flights are possible.

PERIOD OF VALIDITY:

1.         First day to ticket: upon receipt of document

2.         Last day to ticket: 30 June 2007

3.         First day to commence travel: 01 July 2006

4.         Last day to commence travel: 30 June 2007

5.         Last day to complete travel: within maximum stay

SURCHARGES:

1.         A surcharge of 130USD will apply when not arriving to Central America with GRUPO TACA.

2.         Security Surcharge : Collect $5 for OW and $10 for RT for the entire itinerary (Applies for

fares originating in USA only).

3.         Insurance surcharge: collect 5USD for each segment to fly

4.         Fuel surcharge: collect 5USD for each segment to fly

BOOKING CLASS:

1.         All flights must be booked in “L” class, once segments are confirmed.

2.                  When tickets are issued/plated or passengers reserved in a class of service other than "L" TA or LR will assessed to the travel agency a penalty equivalent to the difference of the applicable fare and the "Y" published fare.

FARE BASIS:

"LLAF” plus the number of coupons

Example: a 4 coupon Latin AirFlex will be coded LLAF04

RESERVATIONS:

1.   Reservation must be made and ticket issued at least 14 days before departure from origin.

2.   It is required that ALL reservations have the following SSR:     OSI YY FARE BASIS

Where YY = First carrier of itinerary of passenger (TA/LR/) followed by the appropriate fare basis. E.G.  LAX-MGA-SJO-GUA-LAX       Farebasis LLAF04

             Routing LAX-TA-SAL-TA-MGA-LR-SJO-LR-GUA-LR-LAX

            The correct SSR is:      OSI TA LLAF04  

NOTE: There is a space left between OSI, the Airline code and the fare basis code.

This text must not be modified under any circumstances, otherwise it will lead to an automatic cancellation of your flight.

MIN/MAX STAY:

Minimum stay: 8 days, Maximum stay: 180 days.

Min and Max stays are measured from departure of origin to the starting flight of the last continuous air sector.

 

STOPOVERS:

1.         No stopovers are permitted.

2.         When a "same day" connection is not possible, an "overnight" connection will not be counted as a stopover. Passengers must continue their journey the next day on the first available flight.

3.                  It is considered a stopover when passenger voluntarily stays at a city for a period of more than 8 hours.

4.                  For same day connections passengers must be booked on the next immediate connecting flight.

DISCOUNTS:

Children, Infant, Senior Citizen, or any other discounts are not permitted at these fares.

CHANGE ON RESERVATION:

1.         USD $75 for change on date before or after commencement of travel. Only changes on airline, flight number, day and time are permitted. This surcharge also apply for route changes once flight documentation has been issued (before commencement of travel).

2.         No route changes permitted (after commencement of travel).

TICKETING:

Ticketing only on electronic HR (169) BSP tickets (no manual ticketing allowed).

REFUND:

1.         Before commencement of travel, fares are refundable less USD 100

2.         Fares are not refundable after commencement of travel.

3.         Unused coupons may not be used as credit towards future purchases

TAXES:

Applicable taxes, charges, and surcharges are not included in these fares. They must be included on ticket.

ENDORSEMENT/RESTRICTION BOX:

"NON ENDORSABLE / NON REFUNDABLE / NON TRANSFERABLE/ VALID IN TA/LR ONLY"
